> Reporting directly to the Offshore Farm Manager, the Offshore Cage Farm Technician is responsible to assist and execute the daily operation and activities of the Fish Grow Out Offshore Farm.
> He is expected to have a prior work experience and knowledge on fish cage culture, including but not limited to feeding, grading, harvesting, bath treatments, vaccination, maintenance work, fish
husbandry, health management, pollution prevention & control, stock sampling, and record keeping.
> Daily completion of all allocated tasks including feeding, monitoring of parameters, fish sampling and quality checking, housekeeping, an update of records and documentation, submission of reports
> Manage the daily update of records and submission of regular reports as required by the Offshore Farm Manager that allows for accurate and reliable reporting and analysis: Feed Consumption Record, Fish Mortality Record, Fish Sampling Data, Attendance, System & Equipment status, etc.
> Responding to system alarms and applying corrective actions as determined by the SOPs.
> Providing cover in rotation with other Farm technicians for system monitoring and alarm response on a 24-hour basis.
> Comply and implement all activities within the framework of SOPs
> Assist in the maintenance of cages, boats, nets and other farm equipment.
> Inspect and monitor the health and activities of fish, removal of dead fish, repel or kill predators and report observations to the manager.
> May collect samples and carry out underwater analyses and environmental assessments.
> To drive boats. It should possess driving boat license
> Ensure compliance to high safety standards at all times.
> Any other duties assigned by the Offshore Farm Manager
Computer literate – basic knowledge on the use of office computers.
Background on electronics (instrumentation).
Basic knowledge on the use of crane and winch.
