> The Fish Veterinary Manager (Offshore and on land facilities) shall be responsible to manage the situations and to provide strategic marine fish health expertise, leadership and direction to run a
complex and rapidly expanding offshore and on land fish farming operation.
> The hands-on and practical candidate should be able to give expert guidelines and advice in setting up an efficient and well-focused health system in order to achieve the business strategy, survival, biosecurity and profit objectives.
> He is responsible to plan, direct and coordinate all the health and biosecurity strategies associated to his job assignment
> The candidate is directly responsible in ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the health fish under his responsibility by providing effective methods and strategies.
> Provide leadership to the offshore and on land with the development of long range and annual plans, and with the evaluation and reporting of progress on plan
> Oversee preparation of a monthly, quarterly, and annual reports summarizing progress on short and long range plans.
> Ensure that all facilities and investments under his responsibility are effectively and efficiently managed, utilized and operated.
> Define the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of the health area through goals and deliverables.
> Define tasks and resources requirements, allocations and schedules.
> Overall responsible for the cost management of the health area including the control of the Operational Costs (OPEX) and the management of the marginal cost according to the Targets and Objectives of the division.
> Oversee preparation of an annual budget, regular variance statements and annual audit.
> Submits reports of results including but not limited to mortalities, survivals, treatments, use of antibiotics, biosecurity, etc.
> Develop Health and Biosecurity Plan including antibiotics, treatments, biosecurity and all regulations, etc.
> Direct and oversee health production activities and personnel.
> Oversee and ensure high safety standards by all staff and visitors at all times related with his area.
> Direct production activities to ensure safety and compliance with biosecurity and quality control standards, regulatory compliance and government lease agreements.
> Human Resources responsibilities include planning on the use of human resources; providing support and direction to team members; motivating and training reporting managers and other personnel in all aspects of operation to achieve production objective.
> Monitor and evaluate the performance of reporting personnel.
> Maintain a good working relationship with government officials and

> Ensure relevant procedures to maintain the protection of the environment and achieve safety, legality and quality aspects
